The Roslin Institute, University of Edinburgh, is pleased to bring AIRG back to Edinburgh, having previously hosted the meeting in 2012. Since then, the field has advanced enormously, and this event provides a platform for researchers and colleagues from both academia and industry, and from across the world, to come together, share ideas and shape the future direction of this community.
This year’s programme reflects the strength and breadth of avian immunology. Sessions spanning innate and adaptive immunity, host–pathogen interactions and the microbiome will sit alongside discussions on genetic resistance, ecology and environment and emerging technologies and models. Together, these themes highlight the interdisciplinary nature of the field and create opportunities for new insights, collaborations and innovation.
Beyond the science, there is also space for connection and enjoyment. The social events are designed to foster informal discussions, strengthen collaboration and ensure that your time in Edinburgh is as memorable as it is productive.
