IOM relocates to Pentlands Science Park for future growth and innovation

The Institute of Occupational Medicine (IOM) is delighted to announce the relocation of its Head Office and laboratory facilities to Douglas House, Pentlands Science Park.

This strategic move marks another chapter in IOM’s evolution, enabling investment in facilities, enhancing their service offering, and placing them at the heart of a vibrant scientific community.

Pentlands Science Park provides a modern, collaborative environment where they can continue to innovate and evolve in line with the changing needs of clients and partners and their core purpose of improving workplace health.

Pentland Science Park

Pentlands Science Park, home of the Moredun Group, also provides an excellent supported environment for over 20 commercial tenants involved in R&D in life sciences and their activities.  Covering all areas of property and facilities management, including security, engineering, IT, catering and conferencing, Pentlands Science Park offers a relaxing and practical working environment.  The excellent amenities and Pentlands Science Park’s active encouragement of collaboration between tenants are testament to its commitment to the biotechnology sector.

Their laboratory services, including chemistry, mineralogy, PPE testing, microbiology and research, will all transition to the new location, through a seamless process to  ensure continuity, quality of service and support to all clients.

This move is an investment in our future. It allows us to modernise, evolve, collaborate and continue providing the trusted scientific expertise that underpins healthier, safer workplaces.
