Pioneer and Ignite! Host the Eighth Annual Ada Lovelace Day Celebration
Pioneer Group opened its UK sites to primary and secondary school children for Ada Lovelace Day, celebrating the achievements of women in STEM and inspiring the next generation of scientists and engineers.
The event, which is designed to highlight the critical role of women in science, was the eighth annual Ada Lovelace Day celebration run by Pioneer in collaboration with educational charity Ignite!.
Science community supports Edinburgh cancer charity
More than £2,000 was raised for Maggie's Edinburgh cancer charity by 13 teams of scientists, researchers and support staff who took part in the biggest Knockout Silver Challenge to date at the 126-acre Pioneer Group - Edinburgh Technopole site, within Midlothian Science Zone.

Cytomos secures £5 million for scale-up
Midlothian-based biotechnology company Cytomos has secured £5 million to scale up production of its cell analysis technology.
Cytomos said that the investment will enable it to drive sales of its first commercial product, Celledonia™, built on its cell analysis technology platform, AuraCyt, which is “already generating significant market traction.”
